Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo has said he will not involve himself in the ongoing dispute between musicians King Saha and Pallaso, insisting that the pair should personally resolve their differences without outside interference.
Kenzo’s stance follows days of growing debate within Uganda’s entertainment industry over the worsening relationship between the two artists, whose feud has increasingly played out in public through interviews, social media exchanges, and confrontations involving their associates.
The Big Talent Entertainment boss, who currently heads the Uganda National Musicians Federation, reportedly dismissed suggestions that he should mediate the conflict, saying both musicians are experienced adults capable of handling their own issues.
His remarks come after several entertainment personalities and fans urged senior industry figures to step in and calm tensions before the situation escalates further.
The feud between King Saha and Pallaso has recently generated widespread attention after reports emerged of physical altercations linked to supporters of the two camps in different parts of Kampala. Videos circulating online have further intensified public interest in the dispute, with fans taking sides and debating the origins of the fallout.
Some observers believe the conflict reflects deeper divisions and competition within Uganda’s music industry, where rivalries between artists often spill into the public domain and attract intense fan involvement.
Media personality MC Kats was among those who publicly appealed to Kenzo to intervene, arguing that his influence in the music industry could help restore dialogue between the two singers. Other industry stakeholders have also called for reconciliation and restraint from both camps.
However, Kenzo appears unwilling to take on a direct mediation role, signaling that the matter should be addressed privately by the musicians involved rather than through public pressure.
The dispute continues to dominate entertainment headlines and online discussions, with many fans expressing concern that the tensions could negatively affect unity within Uganda’s music scene if left unresolved.
Neither King Saha nor Pallaso has formally announced reconciliation efforts, leaving uncertainty over the future of their relationship and whether peace talks may eventually take place behind the scenes.
