Mafias are trying to force Muhoozi onto Museveni- Hon Ssekabira Denis

The MP for Katikamu North Hon Ssekabira Denis has come out to reveal how first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s presidential ambitions are those being propagated by the mafias.

According to the MP, Museveni hasn’t yet embraced the idea and still wants to appear on the ballot box in 2026.

“They shouldn’t lie to you. They are trying to force the Muhoozi Project 2026 on Museveni, but President Museveni still wants to be on the ballot in 2026, and he will be on it,” he said.

Hon Ssekabira who was appearing on the NBS Eagle added that those who have been massively stealing from the government are afraid of who will come after Museveni.

Its therefore for this reason that they are trying to pipe Muhoozi down everyone’s throat including the President.

“The people who have been stealing are in panic. They are worried about who will come after Museveni, and they are trying to front Gen. Muhoozi,” he added.

Furthermore, Ssekabira threw light on the origins of the NRM saying that the party belongs to the late Yusuf Lule because Museveni originally belonged to the NRA which was fused to make the NRM

“NRM belongs to Yusuf Lule, not Museveni. Museveni was from NRA.”

The MP also addressed President Museveni’s recent remarks on the price of some basic commodities including bread. Museveni wondered why Ugandans stress themselves on certain things.

He advised them to substitute bread for cassava if they can’t afford the former and yet the later is cheaper. Museveni cited himself as an example who eats cassava instead of bread.

Ssekabira wondered why cassava wasnt served at the first son’s birthday gigs which have been happening over time.

“Lots of things have happened during the week. I remember the President said if you can’t afford bread, eat cassava, but I didn’t see cassava being served at Gen. Muhoozi’s birthday parties. Only wine was being served.”

Ssekabira was however reminded by the viewers of the show that all the attendees of Muhoozi’s show could afford bread.
