What next for John Cliff Wamala as he quits NTV?

Renowned journalist John Cliff Wamala has become the latest staff at NTV to quit the Kampala based TV station.

Taking to his Twitter page, Cliff Wamala said that his 5 years were coming to and end.

He then went ahead to thank everyone who has been part of his journey at the TV station.

NTV also praised him for his diligent efforts towards the station amd wished him success in his new journey.

His colleagues also went ahead through their social media pages to pay tribute to him.

Wamala joined the Nation Media Group company in 2017.

He’s been covering topics ranging from refugees, climate change, social justice and politics.

Wamala is vividly recalled for covering the 2021 general election earning him lots of plaudits.

He now joins a long list of journalists who have quit the TV station over the years.

Some have been recruited by rival TV stations especially NBS.

Others however have simply quit for personal ventures.

For Wamala, he didn’t reveal his next step but we shall keep you updated.
