State House addresses Gen Salim Saleh’s death rumors

State House Uganda has come out to provide an update about Caleb Akandwanaho aka Gen Salim Saleh’s death rumors.

For a while now, reports have been circulating about how the Chief coordinator of the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) had passed away weeks ago.

This is after these same reports allegedly claimed that he had been unwell for some time.

Continuously, the absence of Gen Salim Saleh at fellow bush awar veteran Gen Elly Tumwine’s burial had some confirming that the younger brother to President Museveni indeed had died.

A tweet authored in a seemingly verified Twitter page of President Museveni announced Salim Saleh dead.

The same tweet showed Museveni expressing his condolences as he said that his brother had passed away in Nairobi due to organ failure.

However, a State House official has come out to debunk this tweet.

Faruk Kirunda President Museveni’s Deputy press secretary said that the president hadn’t issued such a tweet.

Kirunda added that Gen Salim Saleh is well and alive.

He’s also doing his work of transform the country economically in Kapeeka, Luweero and Gulu where his major bases are.

It should be recalled that such propaganda has become a norm for several Ugandans in announcing certain public officials dead even when they are still alive.

Surprisingly these always end up dead but confirmation is that Salim Saleh is alive and well
