Uganda Cranes Serbian coach Milutin Sredojevic alias Micho has been acquitted of all sexual allegation charges.
Micho a number of months ago had his name in the news over claims that he sexually assaulted a one Sibabalo Diba.
He however appealed in the Grahamstone High Court, South Africa which him cleared of any wrong doing.
The Serbian had been given a suspended jail term of three years by the The Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) Regional Court.
He however denied all these charges claiming they were botched up.
“After close scrutiny and careful considerations of all merits presented by my legal team,
the High Court handed down a judgment of my ACQUITTAL,” partly reads a statement from the tactician.
“I was duly found NOT GUILTY on all charges that I was sentenced on which overturned the initial sentence and pronounced on my TOTAL INNOCENCE on ALL counts of charges and pronouncing SUCCESS of MY APPEAL.”
This alleged sexual harassment case took place in December of 2020.
It was while the Serbian was still the headcoach of the Zambian National team, the Chipolopolo.
The former Zamalek tactician had travelled to South Africa to watch the COSAFA U20.
The charges against Micho stated that he verbally and physically sexually assaulted the 39 year old Sibabalo Diba at the Wolfson stadium where she was delivering coffee.
Sibabalo said that Micho had told her how he preferred a ‘different type of sugar’ before he proceeded to inappropriately touch her.
