The Executive Director of UNAIDS and wife to politician Winnie Byanyima has clashed with social media users over her son Anselm Besigye’s female tendencies.
Being born to high ranking political figures from a country that values much it’s cultural values and traditions, Anselm has always left Ugandans fuming whenever he posts on social media.
People are confused on whether he’s masculine or feminine but one thing that is clear is he’s a male in a female body. Byanyima this time had to clash with social media users after they attacked her son.
A social media user took to photos of Byanyima and Anselm shared on social media to tell the ex Oxfam director how she’s failed together with her husband Dr Kiiza Besigye as parents.
This user added that the African community will never forgive them because of the way their son behaves. This did not please Byanyima who asked this user what impact they have had on the African Continent.
Another social media user however told Byanyima that they were not trying to attack or disrespect her but the truth is that she and her husband did not groom their child in the proper African virtues.
This seemed to have hurt Byanyima as she went on an exodus to explain the achievements of her son-daughter. Byanyima revealed that she’s so proud of Anselm because he’s a Harvard graduate.
Besides he’s won some of the most prestigious academic awards and is an activist for many struggles for Justice across the World.
She further listed other attributes her child posseses and advised all the critics to move ahead with their lives.
However, her followers predominantly Ugandans didn’t want to hear a thing about these accomplishments by her child. They just told her to count her losses and move on.
