President Museveni to address nation over sad economic situation

President Museveni has come out to reveal how he’s going to address the country over the worrying economic situation in the country.

The president will make this address on the 22nd of May 2022 at 8pm. The address is set to be televised live on different radio stations and TV channels.

Many people in the country expect the President to deliver some relieving news on how the skyrocketing prices can be curbed down.

A number of prices for some commodities deemed essential have been on the rise for the past few months.

Commodities such as soap, cooking oil, fuel, wheat have all sporadically risen to shocking prices beyond the ordinary Ugandan.

The Ukrainian-Russian crisis and COVID-19 have been largely blamed for this. The President in a recent address said that the government wouldn’t do anything in trying to lift the this economic pressure as it would be bad economics.

However, its now expected that he will speak something sensible amd relatable to the people
