MP Jacob Oboth Oboth, one of the facilitators for the ongoing induction training for Legislators of the 11th Parliament, disclosed how a number of Legislators were conned hundreds of millions by unscrupulous people promising them Ministerial Positions in the 10th Parliament.

The induction of Legislators of the 11th Parliament has entered day three with senior legislators sounding a warning to the newcomers against con men and women who have started hoodwinking them, by promising Ministerial positions in exchange of money.

To MP Jacob Oboth Oboth, a number of Legislators in the previous parliament have become victims of conmen and women who ask them for money promising to connect them to president Museveni for Ministerial positions.

Oboth Oboth told Legislators that it’s only the President that has powers to appoint someone a minister at no cost to which many legislators have confessed to have been approached by the said people.

In the same induction training, the new Legislators have been advised on the mode of dressing as honorable members in the House.
