Who is Dan Matsiko Malcom?
Dan Matsiko Malcom is a seasoned politician, reformist, and the current FDC Party Envoy, vying for the party’s presidential flag in the 2026 elections. Born in Bushenyi District during the liberation war that ousted Idi Amin, Matsiko has dedicated his life to democratic governance, youth empowerment, and national transformation.
With extensive experience in leadership—from serving as FDC’s Deputy President for Western Uganda to being a diaspora spokesperson—Matsiko brings a wealth of knowledge from his engagements in Uganda and abroad. His exposure to multiparty democracies like Botswana, South Africa, Canada, and the UK has refined his vision for a free, fair, and prosperous Uganda.
A Rebranded FDC & A New Uganda
Matsiko’s mission is clear: rebrand the FDC, rebuild trust in democracy, and salvage Uganda from political stagnation. His strategy includes:
