Game over for MP Kazibwe Bashir- Bobi Wine says he betrayed NUP

It seems like MP Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira the MP for Kawempe South will need a miracle to retain his seat in the 2026 general elections.

This is after the National Unity Platform leader Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine revealed that Kazibwe is dining and wining with ‘dictator Museveni.’

Kyagulanyi revealed this while addressing the press at the new party headquarters in Makerere Kavule.

It should be noted that the former Bukedde FM presenter has been a no show at many of the party’s activities for some time now.

While speaking at people who have betrayed the opposition struggle for long, Kyagulanyi couldn’t help but expose Kazibwe.

The former Kyadondo east legislator said that for long people have dubbed the Baganda to be traitors and this has become synonymous with the ethnicity.

Kyagulanyi however mentioned a number of people such as Nobert Mao, Betty Amongi among others who are non Baganda that have betrayed the struggle.

It was then that he dropped the bomb of how the area MP of where their headquarters are now situated also betrayed the struggle.

The former presidential candidate then told the audience not to lose focus and hope by the actions of such leaders. This should make them more determined to liberate themselves from the ruling government.

Allegations of Kazibwe being bought off by Museveni started circulating a while ago and Kyagulanyi’s words just cemented this.

Kazibwe was even months ago about to be lynched by an angry mob of street vendors in Kawempe. He was only saved by the lord mayor Erias Lukwago who asked him to move out of the meeting.

These vendors accused Kazibwe of dining with the oppressors yet he promised to work for their plight while campaigning.
