President Museveni reveals why the prices of fuel keep going up

It seems like there will be no solution to the ongoing commodity prices that have been skyrocketing for the past few months. At least that’s according to some of the excerpts picked from President Museveni’s speech yesterday.

The President while addressing the nation said that the prices of fuel is continuing to skyrocket due to the fear that petrol will be phased out in the near future due to its effect on the globe especially climate change.

It should be noted that fuel has been the catalyst of all the prices of other commodities going up. And there also seems no sign of it going down meaning that prices are meant to keep rising.

He also said that the prices of fuel are likely to remain high even when the fuel crisis in Russia and Ukraine ends. The solution he therefore prescribed is to resort to electric cars.

Museveni also talked about the recent killings in the country. He said that these will be handled accordingly.
