Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s Twitter account permanently banned

The Twitter account of first son and Commander of the Land Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is no more after being scrapped off the blue bird app.

Muhoozi who had a huge following of over 500k followers had his account banned on the 11th of April 2022 night time.

The General’s account seems to have violated a number of Twitter policies which saw the platform ban him. It’s said that Muhoozi had earlier on tweeted how he was being targeted by the Big Tech giants.

The military General has been using his Twitter account as his mouth piece. He has been tweeting most of his exploits both militarily and political through the account.

Some of his tweets have always been deemed so controversial always bringing up mixed reactions.

However NBS TV’s former journalist Mordechai Muriisa says that Muhoozi was directed to delete his account on orders from above probably by his father President Museveni.

This is because some of his tweets were deemed reckless by the powers that be.

This is a huge blow to Muhoozi who clearly has been holding his Twitter account so dear to him and also his cyber army will now probably lack what to do.
