Aaron Amani the son of NUP’s deputy vice president for the Northern region Lina Zedriga Waru has succumbed to injuries obtained from a road accident. The party president Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine took to X to reveal the sad news.
He said that Aaron got an accident last week on Friday and he was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it and has died in the wee hours of today morning.
Bobi Wine said that as a party they passed by their comrade to condole with her. Additionally the former presidential candidate said that he was amazed by his deputy’s strength.
“Very saddened this evening by the passing of comrade Aaron Amani, the second born of our Deputy President for Northern Region, Mama Lina Zedriga Waru. Aaron was involved in a road accident last Friday, and passed on this evening. We just checked on Mama Zedriga and we’re amazed by her strength in the face of this tragedy. May Aaron’s soul rest in eternal peace.”
This tragedy comes a few days after the gateman of the party’s headquarters also passed away. Okwai James Wasoti aka Kabogo died last week and was laid to rest in Paidha, Zombo District
