It’s now a public secret about how NTV Luganda news anchor Herbert Zziwa has hang up his boots (mouth) at Nation Media Group’s NTV.
Zziwa has been part of the news cast for the NTV Akawungeezi.
However, he revealed how he’s bringing his 7 years at the station to a close.
Speculation had started to mount about his next move.
All the odds pointed to one direction and place, Naguru to join Next Media Service.
This has become quite a common phenomenon of NBS TV and it’s sister Station Sanyuka TV poaching already established TV presenters from the Kampala Serena Hotel based TV station.
It however doesn’t seem the case as Zziwa revealed that he will be assuming a new role as the Manager Communications at the National Building Review Board (NBRB).
His now former employers, NTV also posted a tribute to him thanking him for the years rendered into taking the brand to the next level.
Zziwa was described by NTV as a reliable, hardworking and self driven individual.
He joins the likes of Frank Walusimbi, Andrew Kabuura, Solomon Sserwanja among others who have quit the station to take a break away from mainstream media or to other media stations.
