Joseph Kony dead rumors circulate- All you need to know here

Rumors have been circulating about how warlord and LRA rebel leader Joseph Kony has probably died.

This is a rumor that started from Twitter and is yet to be verified.

A social media user took to his Twitter and attached a picture of the notorious rebel leader saying that he’s dead and details would follow shortly.

Besides a number of other social media accounts had also alleged how there is a big person in the country that had died and Uganda could finally move on and progress without having to worry about him.

“Deep throat sources say that some big person in the country has died,” one Twitter account said.

“He’s dead. Yes. He’s dead. Thank you God. Now Uganda can think of future progress without him,” another account which excited Ugandans said.

All these accounts have left social media users and Ugandans hanging in balance.

This is because there is no concrete evidence to point out this.

It’s not yet known how this rumor came about and if there is any truth pertaining to it.

Kony meanwhile is one of the most wanted terrorists in the world.

He’s wanted by both the Ugandan government and International Criminal Court for his numerous crimes against humanity.

Some of these are murder, looting, rape, defilement, plundering among others.

These have been committed in a number of countries such as Uganda, DRC, South Sudan and the Central African Republic.

Kony who has been wanted for over 15 years has a 5 million dollar bounty on his head, an approximate of 17 billion shillings.
