Did Bobi Wine really endorse Eddy Kenzo’s show? Here’s the whole truth

Big Talent boss Eddy Kenzo had a massively successful concert at the Kololo Independence Grounds over the weekend.

Almost all the biggest singers in the country and the region performed there.

The likes of Bebe Cool, Dr Jose Chameleone, Harmonize from Tanzania among others excited the revellers.

Many of these had also earlier on drummed support for the Stamina singer before the concert happened.

Among those rumored to have called upon support for Kenzo was NUP and Firebase head, Bobi Wine.

A video made rounds on social media showing Bobi Wine calling upon fans to come in huge numbers and support Kenzo.

This was so odd owing to the fact that Bobi Wine and Kenzo haven’t seemed to be in the best of terms.

Kenzo has severally sided with the NRM and President Museveni who Bobi Wine opposes vehemently.

So how come that he endorsed his show, did he put politics aside in favor of maturity and unity.

Well a run through Bobi Wine’s social media pages doesn’t show any where he endorses Kenzo’s festival.

It was only the Bizonto Comedy Group that Bobi Wine called support for in that time frame.

So where did the news emerge from that Bobi Wine called support for Kenzo.

Sources have it that the video which made rounds on social media with Bobi Wine calling support for Kenzo is actually outdated.

It was in 2019 and some propagandists resurfaced it to show that Bobi Wine had called for support towards Kenzo which wasn’t the case.

Bobi Wine therefore didn’t endorse or post about Kenzo’s festival.

Kenzo while appearing in a press conference after his show appeared to hit out at Bobi Wine amd his NUP.

He wondered why the same people fighting for freedom are the same people denying them freedom.
