The first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has promised his mother, the first lady Janet Kataha Museveni to become the president of Uganda.
Taking to his Twitter page where he has always aired controversial views, Muhoozi said that his mother has always been an angel for him.
To him, she’s perfect and he feels for her just like many men feel for their mothers.
Therefore in order to repay her faith, trust, dedication, love and sacrifice towards his life, he will have to become President of Uganda.
Muhoozi is therefore confident that he will achieve this dream and make his father proud.
It’s no longer news on how the newly ordained General wants to step in his father’s big shoes of leading the country.
On numerous occasions through his Twitter page, Muhoozi has revealed how its time for the young people led by him to take the mantle of leading the country.
He’s even been traversing the country on a number of occasions in order to announce his arrival on the big stage.
However, he’s set to meet a huge task of winning over Ugandans some who have contended that Uganda is not a monarchy.
These feel that the country needs a fresh direction away from the Museveni family.
It’s not clear when he will contest for presidency as his father hasn’t yet expressed interest in stepping away from the presidency.
