As the Soroti East By-election gets heated up, different camps have continued to exchange heated words and decampaign the other.
Now the National Vice Chairman NRM Eastern region, Mike Mukula has come out to reveal why Soroti shouldn’t be voting Moses Attan back to Parliament. Attan was the MP before court nullified his seat on grounds of electoral irregularities.
While appearing in an interview with NBS TV, Mukula said that Attan has been a total failure and disgrace for the area. Mukula added that Attan has not even delivered a single chair in the Constituency. Besides the roads are poor and the district is now one of the dirtiest.
Mukula added that this By-election is going to be a straight win for NRM’s candidate Herbert Ariko.
Mukula further added that Ariko was NRM leaning in the past election . He’s however now fully NRM. And right now they are doing all they can to secure victory for him and the NRM at large.
What’s shocking in this election is how the FDC coordinator for Teso subregion Enomu John is campaigning for the NRM candidate and not FDC’s.
Enomu said that what the people of Soroti want is a leader and that leader is in NRM’s Herbert Ariko.
