NUP launches drive to build bigger headquarters

The National Unity Platform yesterday launched the project of building their own headquarters. These are going to be situated in Makerere Kavule.

The ceremony was graced by the party president Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, Leader of Opposition Hon Mathias Mpuuga among other top ranking dignitaries on the party.

While launching this project, Bobi Wine said that those who thought that they were a mere wave will soon realize how serious they are. They are committed to the struggle of liberating the country from the current regime.

According to the party leaders, their office had become too small to accommodate the huge numbers of people who have been gracing their numerous events. And on several occasions they have been staging some events at Bobi Wine’s personal home in Magere.

Most of the political parties in the country are renting office spaces NRM which has been in power for 36 years inclusive. Its therefore a big challenge and achievement that NUP has put up.

Many of the party supporters have started to donate materials like cement, sand that will be used in the erection of the structure.
