NTV and NBS lose two of their popular news anchors

NTV and NBS TV have lost two of their best news anchor today 1st April 2022according to news shared on their Twitter pages.

NBS TV presenter Samson Kasumba was the first to break the news of his pending resignation from his role at the station and the media.

According to Samson, he’s planning to pursue further education after reigniting his interest in a Theology PhD program.

The journalist says that this was a difficult decision to make. He however arrived at it after consulting his family.

If Kasumba resigns, he will follow the likes of Sheila Nduhukire, Joseph Sabiiti, Solomon Sserwanja and Mordechai Muriisa out of the Kiira based station.

For NTV, it will be the beautiful Sandrah Twinoburyo who has worked at the Serena based station since 2018.

Sandrah through her Twitter page thanked everyone that has been part of her journey at the station.

However, being April Fool’s day, most of these tweets from these people can’t be trusted. Many are catching their followers off guard by announcing these events.

Sandrah however on her case said that this is not a prank although she clearly knows its April Fool’s day.

She even proceeded to congratulate her fellow workmate Mildred Pedun who allegedly is set to replace her in the role of news anchoring.

We shall keep you updated in regards to these stories.
