Four time former presidential candidate Dr Kiiza Besigye while appearing on NTV revealed how the country is under captivity. Besigye said that all institutions in Uganda are under captivity. This is the Judiciary inclusive adding that it serves Museveni and not Ugandans.
Besigye also revealed why the government holds elections. This is not to create change but rather create an impression that people have participation.
Further Besigye addressed the current economic crisis. He said that government should stop hoodwinking people that it was caused by COVID-19 and the Ukrainian-Russian crisis. Its rather the mismanagement of Museveni.
Besigye also talked about the Parish Development Model. He said that this got 1 trillion allocated to it. However the person championing it, Museveni, uses a lot of money in his home. And soon a supplementary budget will be passed for the State House.
The former FDC president also addressed the recent arts teachers strike over pay. According to Besigye, its the parents that should spearhead the fight to improve teachers welfare. This is because they play an important role in children’s lives
