Forget the notion that marriage is hell on earth because its usually the unhappy people that make a lot of noise whereas the happy ones keep quiet most of the times. However President Museveni is not one of those that keeps quiet about the goodness of marriage.
He’s always taken the opportunity to compliment his wife wherever necessary and this was the case while celebrating his wife’s birthday.
Museveni took to his Twitter page to wish the first lady Janet Kataha Museveni a lovely day. He thanked her for her commitment towards God, their family and Uganda at large.
Museveni further prayed for more momentous and celebratory years together with his wife. This was as she celebrated her 74th birthday.
The couple has been married for 49 years. They tied the knot in 1973 and so far share 4 children together namely Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Natasha Museveni Karugire, Diana Museveni Kamuntu and Patience Museveni Rwabwogo.
Happy birthday to the heartbeat of President Museveni.
