St Henry’s College Kitovu clarified on reports that it will start admitting girls

St Henry’s College Kitovu has come out to clarify on rumors that it will start admitting girls. According to several news outlets, it was reported that the school which is set to celebrate 100 years in existence will start admitting girls.

The Masaka based school is one of the traditional single schools in Uganda. It was reported that the head teacher Rev Brother Augustine Mugabi revealed that after the school’s centennial celebrations, it would make a few adjustments including admitting girls.

This obviously sent shock waves through the general public. However the school came out to clarify that the head teacher was misinterpreted. His interview was taken out of context and what they meant with opening doors to the public was impartiality of vocational skills among others.
