Journalist Joel Khamadi has been lured from NTV by NBS TV to replace veteran and celebrated news anchor Samson Kasumba. The news was revealed by Next Media Services CEO Kin Karisa through his Twitter page.
Karisa posted a photo of himself, Khamadi and Kasumba pointing to a transition that would soon be happening.
Khamadi himself tweeted the new career path taken by him through joining the Naguru based station.
It seems like the former NTV presenter didn’t need a lot of time to settle in as he did the NBS at 9 news bulletin in English.
Other presenters at NBS TV took to their different social media platforms to welcome Khamadi to his new home. Khamadi was a co-host on the NTV Pressbox sports program on NTV.
He however seems to have decided to join his pal Kabuura who switched allegiance from NTV to NBS a few weeks ago. Khamadi joins a long list of TV presenters who have made the short route from Serena Hotel to Naguru.
