The Speaker of Parliament Hon Anita Among has come out to caution members of Parliament on their conduct especially towards one another.
She further said that once these MPs don’t treat each other with respect and decorum, whe will have to refer them to the Disciplinary Committee.
She cited a scenario where an MP of Rubabo County Hon Naboth Namara attacked and humiliated a fellow MP and minister of Science, Innovation and Technology Hon Monica Musenero on a matter that is being handled in Parliament.
She further said that Parliament is now going to start discussing ways of financing the budget before they are caught up with time. Therefore other matters of national importance will be put on hold for now.
