Sulaiman Mike Mutyaba to sue FUFA

Former Uganda Cranes football Sulaiman Mike Mutyaba has expressed his intention to drag the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) and its president Moses Magogo to court for the way he was handled when he attempted to hold a peaceful demonstration at the FUFA House in Mengo.

Through his lawyers, Centre for Legal Aid, the former KCCA FC, Vipers and Uganda Cranes player has served the Federation a notice expressing his intention to sue them for being manhandled as he led a peaceful demonstration against the administration, who he believes has mismanaged National team funds.

Mutyaba also says he has written to the President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the Statehouse Anti Corruption Unit demanding a forensic audit of the football governing body.

Mutyaba recently appeared on the list of Uganda cranes footballers who have received millions of money as allowances from FUFA between 2018 and March 2021, on which it was indicated that he got 12 million Uganda shillings during that period, something he has since denied.
