Lugogo based Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC have announced how their partnership with SEE TV has suffered a premature end.
In a short statement issued by the club’s CEO Anisha Muhoozi without stating any reason, it was announced that the two have ceased working together.
“KCCA Football Club hereby confirms immediate termination of sponsorship with See TV as their principal shirt sponsor.” Read the document
It should be recalled that KCCA and SEE TV put pen to paper on a three year deal last year in November.
SEE TV therefore replaced Star Times as the official shirt sponsors for the club.
Star Times had been KCCA’s shirt sponsors for a span of 6 years from 2015-2021.
The worth of the deal between KCCA and SEE TV which was still in it’s first year is said to have been worth Shs 500m yearly.
Meanwhile the Kasasiro Boys have other avenues of raking in billions of shillings from other sponsors such as:-
Highland Mineral water – Shs88m
•Britam Insurance – Shs4.2bn for three years since 2016 (renewed upto 2022)
•Prime Media, a graphics company – Shs750 million annually
MTN – 430 million per season
•KCCA-City Hall – close to shs1.5bn annually
