Social media users have been left perplexed whether Bodø/Glimt winger Mvuka became the first Ugandan player and munyankore to play in a competitive game against English Premier League side, Arsenal at the Emirates stadium.
In their 3-0 win against Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt, there was one tricky winger named Mvuka.
And after impressing in the game despite losing 3-0, Mvuka took to his Twitter page to thank his club’s traveling fans for the amazing support.
Ugandans were left wondering as one of his names is a common one in Uganda.
Mvuka’s full names are Joel Mugisha Mvuka and Ugandans were left questioning whether he’s Ugandan.
“Bro are you ugandan?”
“Are you a Ugandan citizen…..? Those names of Mugisha is a typical Ugandan native and that name Mugisha means luck.”
“U played wel Mugisha, my own question is when are u coming back to Uganda?”
However, he plays for the Norwegian national team. He qas born in 2002 and is just 20 years old.
Mvuka was born in Bergen, Norway and plays as a forward.
Despite his name being Mugisha, he’s no where being Ugandan but is of Rwandan descent so Ugandans please relax.
