Different personalities react to Muhoozi’s Twitter war against Kenya

A number of personalities have come out to react to Uganda’s first son and Commander of the Land Forces Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s comments of capturing Nairobi.

In a series of tweets, Muhoozi said that it would take him just 2 weeks with his army to capture Nairobi.

This is after he said that he wishes his good friend and older brother Uhuru Kenyatta had run for a third term as Kenyan president.

This would have been easily won by him because of his courage, honesty and intelligence.

Kenyans were quick to point out how they have a constitution that they follow which has presidential term limits.

Rule of law and constitution sounded new to Muhoozi’s ears and he laughed it off saying that in Uganda, it’s only the revolution that is followed and soon it will be felt.

The war started growing before Muhoozi said that he could bring Nairobi to its knees in a very short time and even asked where to live if the country he referred to as district of Uganda is captured.

Muhoozi then said that in fact 2 weeks is a long time. One week will do him enough assisted by Tanzania.

However, a number of people have come out to react to these tweets from Muhoozi.

Whereas netizens are enjoying the banter, some dignified people have attached feelings to it.

NUP leader Kyagulanyi told Kenyans that what they are seeing in Muhoozi’s senseless tweets lies a brutal monster.

The Speaker of the Kenyan Parliament Rt Hon Moses Wetang’ula branded Uganda a meme country.

He wondered how a person like Muhoozi who is the Commander of the Land Forces of Uganda can tweet such nonsense in the chase of likes.

He then said that the GDP of Kenya’s Eastleigh district is bigger than Uganda’s.

Former presidential candidate Dr Col Kiiza Besigye said that Muhoozi was walking in the footsteps of ex President Idi Amin who had threatened to capture Kenya 46 years ago.

Nandi County senator, Kiprotich Arap Cherargei said that he expects the Ugandan ambassador to Kenya to be summoned in order to clarify on Muhoozi’s threats to a sovereign country.

Author Kakwenza Rukira who a few months ago claimed to have been kidnapped and tortured under Muhoozi’s watch told Kenyans not to worry about these threats.

He revealed how Muhoozi was sent by his father to capture Kony and only returned with baskets and Jerry cans.
