The MP for Mukono Municipality Hon Betty Nambooze has come out to provide an update about her health status.
Taking to her Twitter page, the MP revealed how she’s able to walk a bit by herself.
She further said that she’s been told how it’s not yet winter but for her case, she’s already started to feel cold.
The MP said that despite being far away from home, her heart beats from Uganda.
However, doctors have not yet cleared her to board the plane back to Uganda.
She’s however grateful to God because she nolonger walks with the support of a stick but by herself.
It should be recalled that Nambooze was airlifted to the US for specialized medical attention after falling twice in her home.
Following her detoriating health state, the government made preparations on the recommendations of health consultants to fly the NUP MP abroad.
Its not the first time that the MP is suffering from such health conditions.
She in 2017 underwent surgery in Manipal, India after doctors found out that she was suffering from spinal compression.
Nambooze was advised to avoid sitting for long hours as the problem would reoccur.
She was given 2-3 years to heal completely but unfortunately for her, another health condition befell.
