Andrew Ojok Oulanyah has come out to appreciate all those that voted him to Parliament in the Omoro County by-election. Ojok who was the NRM flagbearer said that he was proud of everyone that oversaw this success as it honored his father’s memory.
Ojok won the election massively by flooring all the other 5 candidates. It was NUP’S Simon Toolit Oketcha who came in a very farther and distant second.
This election however had low voter turn up with almost half of rhe voters not turning up. Voter percentage turn up was estimated to be around 67%.
According to Simon Byabakama the Electoral Commission chairman, he said that this was the most peaceful election he has overseen in his tenure.
