Former NTV news anchor Frank Walusimbi lands new juicy job

Flamboyant news anchor Frank Walusimbi has landed a new job after a few days of quitting Kampala Serena Hotel based TV station, NTV.

Walusimbi is now the Communications Officer at the United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHCR).

Walusimbi resigned from NTV last month after spending about 16 years working with the Nation Media company.

Many had been wondering what his next step would be and it seems its the UNHCR job which seems to be juicer and fatter than news anchoring at NTV.

A number of high dignified people came out then to pen memorable tributes to send off Walusimbi.

These included among others, NUP principle Bobi Wine , MUK Vice Chancellor Prof Barnabas Nawangwe among others.

Walusimbi became just the latest figure quitting NTV for either NBS TV or other personal ventures. It was in the same few days that the station lost its top sports pundit and commentator Andrew Kabuura to NBS.
