Sunday 10th April will be forever remembered by many Gulu Fortebet punters after being thrilled by Fortebet-Alex Muhangi soccer tour.
The tour started with a give back to the community, specifically giving a number of sports equipment like balls, nets, field uniforms among others to Gulu Prisons Primary school.
Fortebet and Muhangi then proceeded to Gulu Prisons play ground where the soccer battle took place. Eight teams representing the 8 Fortebet branches then battled out in knockout encounters until the victors, Alois branch emerged.
The victors took on Muhangi’s team, which they beat after a penalty shootout.
These victors were prized with 500,000/=, footballs and club jerseys. The second placed team was also prized with 500,000/=, balls and jerseys while the other 6 teams were given jerseys and balls.
