Hon Rebecca Kadaga while delivering a eulogy in memory of her successor the late Speaker Hon Jacob Oulanyah revealed that she won’t be attending other functions to honor and see off Hon Jacob Oulanyah.
She made the remarks during a Parliamentary session that was dedicated to seeing off Hon Jacob Oulanyah’s body for the last time in Parliament.
Kadaga who is now the Minister of East African Affairs revealed that she had a good working relationship with the late.
She went ahead to notify the new speaker Hon Anita Among how she won’t be able to attend other functions of seeing off Oulanyah.
These include one at Kololo Independence Grounds today 6th April 2022 that is being presided over by President Museveni and the final one of burial in Omoro.
“I will not be able to attend the other functions because of other obligations, but I want to say farewell to my friend, colleague and partner,” said Kadaga.
She will be attending functions under her Ministry in Arusha and Nairobi.
