National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearers are currently in the lead in the race for the various elective positions in Nakawa Division.
At most polling stations in Nakawa West, Kyagulanyi, Ssenyonyi and Malende are so far in the lead as per the provisional results streaming through from our different sources.
Many voters in Nakawa division are thronging their respective polling stations to bear witness as the tallying goes on.
Provisional results put the NUP candidates in the lead in the race for Nakawa division with Presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Shamim Malende and Joel Ssenyonyi being the big achievers there.
Joel Ssenyonyi is leading the directly elected member of parliament race in Nakawa West, ahead of NRM’s Margrate Zziwa, Kenneth Paul Kakande and 11 others, while Shamim Malende is leading the race for Woman Member of Parliament.
