Mbarara City FC finally confirm Gadafi Gadinho Exit

StarTimes Uganda Premier League club, Mbarara City FC has finally confirmed the departure of attacking midfielder Gaddafi Gadinho who went missing from the club at the end of last season’s first round.

Gadinho who had joined Mbarara City on a two-year deal from Onduparaka in May 2019, following Livingstone Mbabazi’s appointment at the Club did not complete his time at the club.

The club and player decided that they mutually end their relationship as per the statement from the club CEO.

“We have mutually agreed to terminate the contract with Gadafi Gadinho Muhamad had with us.”

“We thank him for the time he has been a LION. We wish him the very best in future.”

The communication comes weeks after the player reportedly agreed to join newly promoted UPL side UPDF FC.

In the ongoing window, the Ankole Lions have signed Ronald Edwok, Godfrey Kalungi and Bashir Mutanda while the contracts of Swalik Bebe, Souleymane Bamba, Jude Ssemugabi and Pistis Barenge were renewed.

The club has lost Ibrahim Orit (Vipers) and Brian Aheebwa (KCCA) while Kabuye Stephen and Bashir Muweesi were released.
