Following a recent revelation by a one Marinos Alexandria that she was raped and sexually harassed by CMI operatives in Mbuya, NBS journalist Samson Kasumba has come out to refute her allegations.
Kasumba says that Ugandan politics is so dirty and messy therefore Alexandria’s story could have been cooked up and is merely blackmail.
Kasumba says that he can’t just believe anyone’s version of events until they are proven wrong.
Kasumba went ahead to cite the example of Dr Besigye who was blackmailed with rape allegations prior to the 2006 General elections which all turned out to be fabricated.
After being attacked by his followers for being so inhuman in his submissions, Kasumba said that its true rape happens, but people have to learn the pattern of those lying and those that are authentic because many people have been falsely accused.
Kasumba then asked what will happen when its a key opposition politician accused of such.
He requested that courts should be given chance to prove these allegations wrong or correct.
