Gagamel’s head honcho Big Size Bebe Cool has shared insights regarding his rift with singer and politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, commonly known as Bobi Wine. During an appearance on Galaxy FM, Bebe Cool was questioned about why he and the NUP president no longer get along despite having been close in the music scene in the past.
The Zero Omission artist explained that he and Bobi Wine were initially brought together by uncontrollable circumstances. For example, they both used to record at Dream Studios, which was owned by Bobi Wine’s elder brother, Eddy Yawe.

Additionally, Bebe Cool mentioned that although they spent time together in their youth, those memories weren’t significant. In fact, their separation was mainly due to their differing personalities.
“I won’t claim we didn’t create any memories together, but they were merely childish moments that happen. Our meeting was quite inevitable since we frequented the same circles, especially when recording. However, our personalities clashed significantly and that was a turn-off for me. Given our different upbringings, we didn’t behave similarly, which really put me off,” Bebe explained.
Moreover, when he was asked about the chances of collaborating with the NUP leader, Bebe didn’t completely dismiss the idea but stated it could only occur if Bobi Wine sheds his political biases that lead him to create unnecessary adversaries.
