Nobert Mao and Francis Zaake trade insults on Twitter

What would life be without social media? Yes life has ever existed without it but it has become a necessity and no longer a luxury in this age.

It has helped to expose and give an insight into the lives of some of the most ‘dignified members in public. Among these especially in Uganda are politcal figures.

Mityana Municipality MP Hon Francis Zaake and DP president Nobert Mao took to Twitter to unleash violence onto themselves.

Mao took to his Twitter page to say that pride usually comes before one’s fall. He then showed his elation at the sacking of Zaake as the Parliamentary Commissioner.

The DP president added that this NUP section can continue to insult him but this time Zaake had insulted a more sour character, Hon Anita Among the Deputy speaker of Parliament.

This saw Zaake hit back at Nobert Mao branding him ‘Comrade pumpkin’ a nickname that has been brandished on Mao by those who accuse him of being an NRM agent.

Zaake added that he didn’t he believe Mao was fighting for attention from his grandchildren.

It should be noted that Hon Zaake was yesterday deposed as the Parliamentary Commissioner .

A total of 155 MPs yesterday voted in favor of having Zaake removed as the Parliamentary Commissioner.

NUP MPs however boycotted the vote. Zaake was ousted from this role because of a tweet deemed insulting that he directed the Deputy speaker of Parliament.
