The Commander of the Land Forces who doubles as the first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has come out to refute claims by author Kakwenza Rukira that he was among his torturers.
After being released on bail, Kakwenza in his revelations said that Muhoozi was among those that tortured him severely.
The first son then went ahead to order Kakwenza not to show to show off his torture scars.
Furthermore, Kakwenza alleged that Muhoozi offered him material wealth and fancy jobs which he all turned down.
While taking to his Twitter page, Muhoozi refuted all these claims saying that he didn’t know Kakwenza until the media started writing about him.
The General added that he has never met and has no desire to meet Kakwenza Rukira.
There were reports also suggesting that Kakwenza had escaped Uganda via Rwanda.
However, Kakwenza revealed rhat he’s currently in Malawi.
It should be recalled that Kakwenza was kidnapped by alleged security operatives from his home in Kisasi on the 28th of December 2021.
This was after a series of insulting tweets aimed at President Museveni and his son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Kakwenza was beaten up mercilessly and charged with annoying the president and the the first son and released on bail.
He however yesterday escaped Uganda into exile.
