Museveni criticizes the UN Security Council

President Museveni has come out to criticize the UN Security Council which he termed unfair.

This is in regards to the members of the security council members where Africa has no permanent seat.

The President made the remarks during his address on the 9th Ministerial Level Meeting of the African Union Committee Of 10 on the reform of the United Nations Security Council.

Museveni said that Africa deserves a permanent seat and not just the the seasonal ones allocated to her by the unfair system.

This is not a favor to the Continent but a right to all inhabitants of the globe.

Museveni also said that permanent slots will make sure the policies taken are not against Africa but in her favor and the world at large.

It should be recalled that the UN Security Council has 5 permanent members.

These include China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

This therefore means that neither Africa, Latin America nor Middle East has a representative on this council.

Its no wonder that these three geographical areas have been turned into war zones by the so called big powers and can always be attacked whenever wished.

This is because there is no one on the security council that has the best interests of the three areas at heart other than exploiting them.
