Ministry of Education releases school reopening dates for Central Uganda

The Ministry of Education in conjunction with the the concerned parties in the districts of Kampala, Wakiso, Mpigi and Mukono have released a time table from which learners shall start reporting back to school.

This was after the confirmation of President Museveni that schools shall reopen on the 10th of January 2022.

The Ministry maintained that no learner should report earlier than the indicated date of 10th January.

Those who had already provided staggered return dates to parents of later than 10th January were told to keep them.

Parents have also advised been advised to make sure they provide face masks to their children as they move to schools.

The learners shall all have reported back to school in a staggered manner by 13th January 2022.

Students in Wakiso districts and Mpigi shall report on the same dates whereas those in Kampala and Mukono shall use the same dates but different from the earlier two districts.
