Bobi Wine tears down Uganda Human Rights Commission for defending violators of human rights

The National Unity Platform leader Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has come out to trash the Uganda Human Rights Commission for defending the security agencies who are the chief abusers of human rights in the country.

This was after an article published by NBS TV with the Uganda Human Rights Commission cautioning individuals who try to tarnish the image of the security agencies portraying them as abusers of human rights.

The former Kyadondo east MP wondered how on earth the Commission was now defending the “devil.”

He went ahead to cite the annual reports of the same Commission which have over the previous years pinned the security agencies as the leading violators of human rights.

The former presidential candidate added that this is what happens when sycophants are appointed to head public institutions instead of qualified individuals.

Bobi Wine said that these individuals are now competing with each other to kill public institutions.

He added that the public and every Ugandan has a big role to play in trying to rebuild the country.

“This is what happens when sycophants are appointed to head institutions, instead of qualified, competent persons. The result is each of them now struggles to out-do the others in killing institutions. No single institution has been spared. We have a lot of work to do to rebuild.”

In the same vein, Bobi Wine attacked President Museveni calling him a ridiculous liar who has no shame for his age.

This was after Museveni in his end of year speech said that Bobi Wine attacked his (Museveni)convoy while driving a grader/ tinga tinga.
