Don’t try to be our guest – Police warns revellers ahead of New Year’s celebrations

The Uganda Police Force has come out to warn all those that plan of causing chaos ahead of tonight’s new year’s celebrations.

Ugandans have been further warned to be careful in their celebrations in order not to breach the rules and regulations in place.

Some of the categories of people warned include reckless drivers, those defying curfew and other COVID 19 SOPs.

According to the tweet released by Police, those who attempt to be the Force’s guests tonight will be entertained by the Police guards in the cells.

The measures are even expected to be tightened since President Museveni will be delivering the end of year nation address.

Ugandans who have also been flocking neighboring Tanzania for concerts in Mutukula have also been warned.

A number of Ugandan artists and revellers had made it a habit to throng Mutukula where COVID 19 SOPs are not in play.

These have however been warned that they will be dealt with mercilessly.
