Bobi Wine asks Ugandans to decide next course of action after NUP’s loss in Kayunga district

The National Unity Platform’s leader Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has asked Ugandans to take the next course of action after the party’s loss in the Kayunga district LC V Chairperson race.

The Electoral Commission in Kayunga announced NRM’s flag bearer Andrew Muwonge as the eventual winner of this election .

In the results released by the EC, the election turned out to be rather tightly contested contrary to what NUP had insinuated.

Muwonge beat NUP’S Harriet Nakweede Kafeero to the district chairperson office with a margin of 450 votes.

However, NUP is not contented with the outcome of the result and allegations of vote rigging and general election theft have already started arising.

NUP party officials were confident of winning this election hands down and said that they were in a comfortable lead of over 15000 votes earlier on.

Its against this background that Kyagulanyi implored Ugandans to decide the next course of action in regards to this ‘robbery.’

We shall keep you updated on regards to this story.
