As the world celebrated the Anti corruption day yesterday, Uganda joined along to commemorate the day.
President Museveni was the chief speaker but NUP principle Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine feels that the NRM chairman does not deserve to speak anything about corruption because he’s the source of it in Uganda.
Kyagulanyi says that corruption can be fought by strengthening institutions set up to fight it but these institutions have been weakened deliberately by Museveni.
Kyagulanyi adds that the corrupt hide under Museveni and use their connections to him to defeat justice just as the former IGG Irene Mulyagonja noted.
The young politician further adds that Museveni and his government has no moral authority to speak about corruption because they are not only part of it but they are the real problem.
This therefore makes the fight against corrupt difficult to overcome.
“Dictator Museveni and his illegitimate government have no moral authority to say anything about fighting corruption. Museveni is not just part of the problem, he is the biggest stumbling block in any efforts tobget rid of corruption, patronage and abuse of public funds in Uganda,” Kyagulanyi said.
