FDC has come out to trash the rumors that the party vice president for the Eastern Region Salaamu Musumba has crossed to the ruling party NRM.
This was after pictures of the former Kamuli woman MP aspirant surfaced online showing her putting on an NRM yellow cap.
It was during the Duwa prayers of the late Kamuli municipality MP Rehema Watongola.
Allegations started flying on how the FDC strong woman had crossed to the NRM finally to join her husband Isaac Musumba who has served in some juicy positions in the NRM for quite a long time.
FDC president Patrick Amuriat Oboi however says that this was an imposed cap on their party member and she can never sell her soul to the devil.
“Any NRM chap shouldn’t be excited about Salaamu’s actions. An imposed yellow cap won’t pass the criteria for her crossing from FDC to the yellow bus,” POA says.
“Our first chairman will never be found selling her soul for mere silver and gold,” he added.
NRM has been poaching it’s opponents for some of their best players.
The ruling party snatched the FDC vice president for the central region Joyce Ssebugwawo who was given a ministerial position months ago.
