The Internal Security Organization (ISO) has come out to reveal that they have done more heroics than what’s publicly known.
Col Charles Oluka the Director General of ISO revealed that they have in fact stopped 47 bombs from going off unlike what’s known by the public.
“There would have been bombs all over the place, but the public does not know. They only know these ones that go off yet we have stopped 47 from going off,” the Colonel said.
It should be noted that the public has been thrown into a state of shocked and insecurity after two explosives went off in the past few days.
The first took place last week at Digida pork joint in Komamboga a Kampala suburb while another one exploded inside a Swift bus that was travelling from Kampala to Ishaka.
All these killed a person each injuring others in the process.
Syrian based Islamist militants ISIS came out to claim responsibility of these explosions.
Police however did not confirm this but said it was more of an internal matter than foreign intrusion.
The explosion in Swift bus was confirmed as a suicide bombing and the person who carried it out had ties with rebel group ADF although he died instantly.
