Terror group ISIS claim responsibility for Swift Bus Bomb Blast

Islamic militant group ISIS have come out to own responsibility for the bomb attack on a Swift Bus that was travelling from Kampala to Ishaka.

This happened at Lungala in Mpigi district along Masaka Mbarara highway and killed one person although some sources put it at 3 and injuring others.

The terror group had also come out a day ago to claim the responsibility of the bomb explosion in Komamboga a Kampala outskirt that saw the death of one person and injuring of others as reported by Reuters.

Police is however yet to come up with a detailed report on these bomb blasts but claimed that this is an internal matter and not the ISIS as it claimed.

The earlier bomb placed at Digida pork joint in Komamboga is said to have been made of nails and shrapnel.

It was placed in a black polythene bag and left under the table by three men who disguised as customers.

The President however assured the public that these criminals are going to be apprehended soon.

He added that no one working from either outside the country or inside is going to disrupt the peace and stability of the country.

Museveni is expected to address the country on Thursday 28th October 2021 about the Covid 19 status of the country.

It’s expected he will talk about the security too which has had the nationals worried about their safety.
