Fred Bamwine Relieved of Duties as Masaka RDC

Yesterday the Presidency Minister Milly Babalanda announced a reshuffle in the RDC’s which saw Fred Bamwine who has been the RDC of Masaka relieved of his duties.

Bamwine was given a transfer to Nakaseke district. He had also served as the RDC of Mukono municipality.

Bamwine’s transfer came at a time when tension and insecurity in Masaka is soaring.

The transfer is however not known whether it’s related to these murders.

According to reports, the number of murders is now nearing 30 and is expected to rise if security doesn’t apprehend the criminals.

Some locals are however dissatisfied with the security forces’ efforts to arrest these criminals and calm the situation.

As the leader of the opposition and MP Mathias Mpuuga said that he’s disappointed no minister has yet gone to the region to engage with the locals, minister Babalanda had a day earlier promised to go to the area and analyze the situation.

She said that these bandits were out to frustrate the NRM manifesto.

“I am heading to the Masaka area to assess the insecurity being reported there.
These terror groups want to frustrate our efforts in implementing the NRM Manifesto. I can assure Ugandans that the Government will wipe them out without any trouble.” The minister said.

Meanwhile, the goons have gone ahead to write terrifying messages on the houses of their targets.

These come and write messages warning these people that no one will actually saw them no matter what they do.
